The Napolitaner N.47 - Fuochi nella notte di San Gennaro

From Naples to NYC, the Feast of San Gennaro has long been an iconic moment of celebration. On September 19th, the sacred and the profane come together in a dazzling crescendo of emotions, and the streets erupt into a song of love for San Gennaro and for everything he represents. In Cabaret Typographie’s illustration, the night of the celebration is rendered through a geometric display of fireworks lighting up the sky over Naples. A deep midnight blue sets the scene, while bursts of straight and curved lines in red, pale yellow, and blue evoke the fireworks, and the meeting of sacred and profane.
