In Posillipo there is a stretch of free beach nestled beside Palazzo Donn'Anna, opening onto the Gulf. It takes its name from the nuns of a now-closed convent who used to bathe here. You reach it walking down among the villas, between Mergellina and the open sea. This is Spiaggia delle Monache, one of the few free beaches in the city, where Neapolitans have long defended their right to enjoy the sea. Crystal-clear green water, an incredible view of Vesuvius and Capri, a short walk from the centre: landscape, culture and identity to love, respect and protect. Cover No. 107 is not about summer, but about a September morning: cooler air, softer sun, a quieter beach and the feeling of having the Gulf all to yourself.

A hundred years of stories to tell. A hundred seasons, countless different Napoli, yet always framed by the same colours: “Against the blue of the sky, with Vesuvius in the background.” A history of Sunday ragù, concrete steps and plastic seats, blazing sun and pouring rain, sweat-soaked jerseys and biting cold. First the San Paolo, now the Maradona, fathers and sons, grandparents and grandchildren: whether you were there or grew up hearing the stories, we are all children of the same history. To borrow our Pres(id)ent’s words, a story made for the cinema: from Juliano’s heart to Marek’s, from the Pocho to Kvaratskhelia, La MaGiCa, the Maradona era, the first Scudetti and the UEFA Cup. From Ascarelli to Ferlaino to the De Laurentiis era: an epic whose ending is still to be written. Happy Birthday, Napoli. Here's to a hundred years.

Reinterpreting a seventeenth-century masterpiece like Caravaggio’s Seven Works of Mercy is not a responsibility entrusted lightly. We are deeply grateful to the Pio Monte della Misericordia for recognising almost four years of our work and entrusting us with one of our most ambitious projects. In the original, Caravaggio gathers all the acts of mercy of the Pio Monte into a single night scene. Four centuries later, with Giovanni Abeille, we have reimagined them in our own language and in today’s world: supporting families, access to work, education and healthcare, standing beside anyone facing hardship. The scale of the original led us to a more conceptual approach, away from any impossible comparison with the canvas, while keeping its timeless message. Nothing has changed: there are still those in need, and those who answer.
