N.051 - Vongole Fujute
Legend has it that, in 1947, Eduardo De Filippo himself came up with spaghetti alle vongole fujute, a dish born from an empty pantry and a distinctly Neapolitan ingenuity, always able to rise above difficulties with a touch of humor. In Allegra Memoli’s illustration, Eduardo stands on the edge of a giant plate of spaghetti, scanning the distance with a telescope in search of the clams that escaped the pasta. A reminder that when everything is missing, there is always room for creativity, passion, and a touch of Neapolitan magic.
